HOME >> INTERNET MARKETING TOOLS >> NAME SQUEEZE PAGE FORMS

YOU CAN TRUELY CREATE
AN UNLIMITED NUMBER OF
OPT-IN FORMS LIKE THIS
FOR YOUR WEB SITE(S)

Simply, a name squeeze page is a small web page containing an opt-in box that prevents someone from going any further unless they "opt-in" and give you their name and eMail address. That's why it's called a "name squeeze" page because it "squeezes" the name and eMail address out of someone before they can view your site, product, offer, etc.

What is the purpose of a
Name Squeeze Page?

The purpose of a name squeeze page is to build a list and generate leads, which hopefully, you can turn into sales!

What is the difference between an
Opt-In Box and a Name Squeeze Page?

Real quick, an "opt-in" box is a small web "form" which is visible on your web site, usually located in the top right corner, that asks for the name and eMail address of people visiting your web site in exchange for something free.

Why would you want to use a name
squeeze page on your web site?

Again, to generate leads! No leads means no sales! Lots of leads could equal lots of sales. Again, the purpose of a name squeeze page is to collect the names and eMail addresses of people who visit your site (i.e., who are interested in what you have to offer) and to add them to your mailing list. The larger your list grows, the more money you could possibly make selling products, services, coaching, seminars and more!

You might notice a big jump in the number of signups with a name squeeze page as soon as you put it up versus not having one at all. Just having a simple opt-in box on your home page doesn't improve signups like a name squeeze page. Try it for a week or two and see what results you experience. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Again, name squeeze pages are placed before (or in front of) web sites, web pages and landing pages where you plan on selling something, sharing information, making special offers, etc.

What if people don't opt-in and give me their name and eMail address in order to get to the main/intended web page? What should I do?

Nothing. Those people might have been more into "looking" than actually "buying" any way. With all the free-information-junkies out there today, you want qualified, interested people visiting your site.

Think of it like this, imagine you're the owner of a retail store ... If you let everyone walk in without ever introducing yourself or saying "Hello", asking if you could help them, etc., would you make any sales? Maybe 10-20% of the time.

But, if you engaged yourself, and got the name (and eMail address) of the person interested in visiting your web site so you could start a dialogue, you just might increase your says by 20-50% on top of that already dismal 10-20% ... Now, that's something worth experimenting with, isn't it? Sure it is!

Make your offer enticing! Offer something of true value, and you know what? Put a value on it! Yeah! This is optional, of course. But, offer something for free, like a FREE eCourse or a FREE eZine/newsletter loaded with lots of great content, featured articles and a lot more every week/month. Then, have them automatically delivered to those who "opt-in" via autoresponders or our eMail broadcasting service.

To conveniently create a name squeeze page for your web site, you'll need to create a web page (for your name squeeze page) using a web site design program and you'll need the right online marketing software tools to help you:

Automatically create the HTML code for your "opt-in boxes"  that collects the names and eMail addresses (and other optional information) from people who land on your name squeeze page, express an interest in your free offer and "opt-in" providing you their name and eMail address.
Sort, track, add and edit the names of people who opt-in to your list through an online database.
Communicate with your growing list of names by sending them eMail through an eMail system that doesn't label you as a spammer and which also sends out your eZines, online newsletters, special announcements, autoresponders, free offers, audio courses, etc. automatically.

The most sophisticated software system that conveniently creates opt-in boxes, tracks and manages the names and eMail addresses you collect and at the same time provides you with other key essential marketing tools for selling and marketing online is MyMarketingCart.com.
