Forms allow you to create a variety of online forms, name
and eMail opt-in boxes, "name-squeeze" forms,
online questionnaires and additional your visitors can
fill in to provide you more information about them in
exchange, perhaps, for your free newsletter or other offer
of value.
You
can use one of our system-generated forms or you can create
your own forms for total integration into your site. Use
this utility in conjunction with our Pop-Up Wiz tool to
make custom opt-in pop ups on your site and seriously
ramp up your opt-in rates!
This
step-by-step wizard will generate your form HTML for you
to easily cut-and-paste into your webpages, and edit with
your favorite web editor such as Dreamweaver, FrontPage,
GoLive, etc. The options you choose in this wizard only
affect your custom form HTML. Your account setup preferences
will remain unchanged.
Why
are custom forms so important to growing your business
on the Internet? The secret to wealth and running a business
on the Internet is growing a large list of names and eMail
addresses of prospects and clients who one day come to
trust you and who eventually buy that which you have to
sell them (i.e., solutions to their problems/needs/wants)
...
But,
how do you build
a database of prospects (you can eventually sell to) if
you don't ask for people's names and eMail addresses.
Further, how do you provide a way for visitors to your
web site to give you their name and eMail address? Answer:
You create an "opt-in form" using the Custom
Forms tool we provide with our shopping cart system.
But,
just asking for their name and eMail address isn't enough
sometimes. To truly succeed on the Internet, you have
to dig deeper; and really get to know your prospect/clients'
needs. To do that, you could create a questionnaire with
our Custom Forms tool we provide with our shopping cart
system. This would allow you to ask your prospect/customer
any number of questions relating to their situation; hopefully,
helping them to answer/explain what it is in detail they're
really looking for at your web site.
You
can't sell to people anything if you don't know what they
really want. So, ask them!
There
are a number of reasons to use "custom forms"
...
Create
an Opt-In Box on your site to
collect the names and eMail addresses of people who visit
your web site. You might offer them a free report, eBook,
newsletter or other special offer to encourage your visitors
to give you their name and eMail address.
Create a Name SqueezePage on
your web site. Simply, before you allow anyone to enter
your web site or a specific page on your web site, you
might insert a "name squeeze" opt-in box on
the page first asking people to give you their name and
eMail address. In many cases, this is a quick way of building
your list.
Create a Questionnaire on your web site.
Would you like to run a survey? You can create specific
questions (use our Custom Fields option) you can ask people
who visit your web site. The results are stored within
the client details of every person who completes your
questionnaire.
Create a Contact Form on your Contact
Page of your web site. Wow, here's a neat idea. Why not
have a contact form on your web page that ties into your
shopping cart account. You can attach an autoresponder
to the form which would eMail that person (submitting
the form) saying something like: "Thank you for contacting
us. We have received your inquiry successfully and will
be following up with you soon. If you have any other questions,
please feel free to visit our FAQ page or call our offices
... Again, thank you for contacting us. Kind regards,
..." Wow, now that's professional and you can imagine
how confident your visitor must feel that you responded
to them in such a professional manner.
Create a Customized Regisration Page
on your web site to sell registrations to a tele-seminar
or live in-person seminar. That's right, you could create
a customized form that collects the personal information
of someone registering for one of your free tele-seminars
or other event (that doesn't require a transaction of
money). A very useful technique indeed. You can then attach
an autoresponder to that customized "registration"
form that provides details on how to either access the
tele-seminar call or location information about the (free)
live event you're inviting people to attend when they
register with you at your web site.
Wow,
the ideas just keep flowing! What ideas do you have when
it comes to creating custom surveys, collecting information
from your customers and/or creating online registration
forms for free events? Think big!
YES,
you can! Suppose you wanted to ask your visitors a specific
question? You can do just that! You can even create a
customized questionnaire with those custom fields. Then,
when people fill in your questionnaire, the information
gets stored in their personal details record for reference
at any time by you or your staff.

Here's
where you can create up to 10 different custom fields
to be included in your custom form. These fields can have
additional selections added on to them allowing you to
create very detailed and power custom forms to be used
on your web site.
You
can use these custom fields to ask questions on your forms
or the order page that may not be covered by our standard
set of fields. Any
information that your clients fill out on a custom field
will be recorded on their client record.

this video, you’re going to learn how to configure
your system-hosted opt-in forms, like the newsletter opt-in
form or the questionnaire/contact us form.
In
this video tutorial, you’re going to learn how to
create an Easy Opt-In Script which will open the prospect’s
default email program and email you from their computer,
opting themselves into your list automatically without
the client filling out a form.
Whenever
you use our system to generate a custom form, you have
the ability to further customize the look and feel inside
any typical web site design program. Here’s what
we mean by that.
After
you copy the custom form’s HTML code from within
our system and paste it into its own page first, you can
customize it freely. Using the web design program of your
choice, like Dreamweaver or FrontPage; here’s just
some of the things you can do:

Customize the Form inside a Web Design Editor
Whenever
you want to run a free tele-seminar, you can use our system
to generate a custom form so your callers-in can register
for the call and have the call-in details (like telephone
number and PIN#) delivered to them automatically after
they sign up. To set all this up, here’s all you
do:
In
this video tutorial, you’re going to learn how to
create an opt-in form to deliver chapter excerpts of your
book or ebook. You can also apply what you learn here
to capture the names and email addresses of prospects
and deliver anything else via eMail and autoresponders,
such as audio files, video files, and the like!

Create an Opt-In Form to deliver Chapter Excerpts
of Your Book
Let’s
say you want to build a “name squeeze page”
to capture all the names and email addresses of people
who want to visit your site. Before you let them have
access to your site, they must to give their name and
email address to you. That’s what we call a name
squeeze page.
In this video tutorial, you’ll learn how to create
a “name squeeze page” containing a custom
form which you’ll create using our system.
Where it concerns custom fields, you're
only allowed to create a maximum of 10 custom fields.
This means, if you wanted to create more custom fields
(beyond 10), you can't. You would have to remove one (or
more) custom fields to make room for the others you wish
to use.
You can always customize the look and
feel of your custom forms by copying the code
we generate for you and pasting it into a web design program
(like Dreamweaver, Frontpage, etc.). You don't have to
just settle with the look and feel of the forms we generate
for you.
If
you want, you can change the size of the fonts and field
boxes to your liking. Then, simply copy and paste the
modified form into your web design, upload it to your
web server and test the form.
